ABOUT ME
Casey Starshine RN, BSN, MS, Karmic Astrologer
I am a mother, a hospice nurse, and I facilitate healing through karmic astrology. I hold two degrees from the University of Maryland, a Bachelors Degree in Nursing and a Masters Degree in Science, Public Health Nursing. I have been a hospice nurse for over 17 years. I was born and raised in Maryland but have lived in New York, Florida, California, Washington, and Oregon. I have been a vegetarian for over 35 years. I have two sons, whom I adore; Uriah is 23 and lives in Utah and August is 10 and is enjoying being a kid. In my spare time, I enjoy traveling, gardening, yoga, walking my dogs, jogging, transcendental meditation, studying the movements of the planets, and creating art.
In 2017, my son had a near death experience in Costa Rica. Eventually, the trauma and PTSD that I carried surrounding this incident was transformed and healed through an understanding of the astrology of the event. I have studied astrology independently for over 21 years and worked personally with a karmic astrologer for over 6 years. I completed an internship with Linda Brady, an internationally recognized Karmic Astrologer and author of the book Discovering Your Soul Mission: New Rules for a New Age.
One of my personal missions is to bring karmic astrology to people who are facing life-limiting illnesses. After working with people on hospice and their families for over a decade, I have found an unmet need to bring soul-level peace and closure to them and their families. This can be done perfectly using their natal birth chart. It is also possible to better understand a loved one's life path by comparing their birth chart to the placement of the planets at the time of their death.
What I Do.
In a one and a half hour session, we will review your natal chart (which is a map of our solar system at the time, date and location of your birth). Based on planetary, asteroid and constellation placements, we will discuss patterns and trends that you have experienced throughout life along with strengths and weaknesses in your chart. We will discuss how these patterns have played out over your life, and come to an understanding of them. We will determine how to utilize the energies to be in alignment with your soul's path and break karmic patterns. Meetings can be done over the telephone or in person. I will need your birth date, birth time, and location of birth in order to create an accurate natal chart. Below is a copy of my natal chart as an example.
